![]() Art of Life are currently running an exciting music programme which will have a large emphasis on themes of community, identity, and belonging. The Schools Anthem Programme will involve working with teachers and students to write a school song/anthem. The school anthem will embody and reflect the qualities and the ethos of the school and the goals, aspirations ideas and feelings of the students. The school anthem will be a powerful and poignant representation of the school which can be sung during assemblies, lessons, performances, events, and other special occasions. The anthem is something that will be a unique, symbolic testimony and tribute to the school for years to come and whenever students, teachers and parents, past and present sing the song, they will always feel a close connection to the school. Schools may also be interested in recording the anthem professionally onto CD in order to sell via their website or during school events. |
![]() We specialise in developing creative ways to help individuals and organisations to monetise their creativity and generate revenue that can be used to fund resources, materials, equipment and opportunities. The School Merchandising Programme gives schools the opportunities to explore new ways to increase revenue through their creativity. For example: using text, music, video work, artwork, images produced during lessons, enrichment days and workshops to produce dvd's, cd's, books (photographic, anthologies, poetry, novels, short stories) t-shirts, cards, post cards, prints, pictures, mouse pads, pens, pencils, etc. After we have produced some merchandise we will develop, with the school, an E-Commerce system that will enable them to promote and sell the products via their websites as well as through a variety of other events. This also gives students hands on experience in the whole process of creativity, production and marketing. |
![]() Art of Life are in the process of working with young people throughout the UK, and within the London boroughs to produce 30 minute episodes which will form part of a series of documentaries, shorts, and drama fiction episodes. We will be working with young people to write, direct, edit, produce and write the score for a series of programmes that explore issues that influence, concern, inspire and affect them. Students will participate in activities such as - writing, acting, directing, editing, producing the soundtrack, organising the filming location, in order to explore different ideas, experiences, interests, and utilise the diverse skills and talents. The films will transferred onto DVD for the schools and also uploaded to their website. We will be looking to produce a CD box set of each series so that the DVDs can be purchased as resource materials for schools throughout the UK. |
![]() The Schools ICV Programme is something that we believe will give students of primary and secondary school age the platform to demonstrate and exhibit their skills, talents and hard work throughout their time in education. Each student would have an Interactive CV/Profile and they would have the ability to upload work to each subject area within their ICV. This would allow them to upload text, files and multimedia (video, audio, pictures, animation) of all their work, presentations, homework, group work, trips, workshops, one-to-one sessions etc. The ICV Programme is an innovative multi-media programme, which aims to equip students with the tools and skills to continue to exhibit, demonstrate and archive their achievements throughout their educational journey. It is designed to give young people the platform and tools to continuously display, showcase and monitor their achievements, developments and growth throughout their school years. As a result, at the end of their primary and secondary school experience they will have developed the confidence, focus, and skills necessary to fulfill their further education, training, career and entrepreneurial aspirations. An ICV would give students enable students, parents and teachers to evaluate the students learning and development. It would give students a sense of ownership, focus and self-esteem to be able to look at their achievements and their progress, encouraging them to take pride in their work and their learning. |
![]() We are currently working with schools to design, redesign or update their websites. We have a team of incredibly talented designers who can also work with students and teachers to design a website that will reflect the identity of the school, as well as the changing state of technology (social networking, interactivity and design). We will work with the school to create and produce material (photography, graphic design, art, podcasts, videos, audio, music) that will give their website a fresh, contemporary feel that reflects the interests, talents, skills and ideas of teachers, students and parents. The school may want to incorporate a weekly podcast show, a multimedia newsletter or magazine, a weekly video slot which might include students talking about current projects, or showcasing their work or footage of school outings, events and competitions. Another idea may be to bring in a E-Commerce system which allows the school to promote and sell copies of work produced by the school (Photography, art, t-shirts, books, CDs, DVDs- please see School Merchandising Programme section) |
