Introducing 'The Glue'

Written and directed by Ibi Vaughan, a film maker, writer and journalist.
The Glue explores the dynamics between 10 individuals brought together by the one thing they have in common. This explosive new web series is set to air in the spring 2010, so don't miss it!

The Glue Web Series (Synopsis)

The Glue is a web series about a group of strangers from different
socioeconomic groups,backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, etc, that come
together because of one thing they all have in common, and need at that
particular time.

They become members of a group called The Glue, and each week they all
bring a specific amount of money and one member takes the full amount each
week, but then has to contribute until it goes full circle. Although the
members are put into this situation, and in other situations would
probably not choose to form these bonds, they find that the other members
actually play a vital role in their lives, more so than any one else.
However, there is also a lot of conflict, prejudice and power struggle
that will happen as a result of these new relationships.

The first episode is feature length and introduces ten different stories
that will be developed through the web series.

They learn very quickly that without 'The Glue', everything will come
crashing down.


FILMING- (One day filming for each story)


Filming will take place throughout April in London (Hackney, Haringay and
Islington)



CAST AND CREW

There is a cast of 45 people, and a full film crew too (highly skilled and
experiences camera operators, lighting and sound technicians, composers,
photographers, editors), and all involved will be working on a voluntary
basis. The plan is that once episode one and two are completed, we will
start to explore funding and sponsorship paths. The first episode is
feature length and will involve ten different introduction stories of each
main character. And below is the synopsis of the web series.

"AHH NOOO"

In 2001 I wrote a song called 'I Don't wanna Fight No More' about the painful and harsh consequences and repercussions of gun and knife crime in our society.

I will be rerecording the vocals with different groups of young people throughout London, as this song is even more relevant now than it was eight years ago.

Art of Life are writing a new webisode drama which will be aired in the spring of 2010.
